The Place of the Spirit
The Place of the Spirit Web Site is Dedicated to Revealing the True Meaning of Ps. 149
Our goal is to instruct the body of Christ to arise out of the ashes of failure and begin to use the weapons our Father has given to us. One of these weapons is that of Holy Spirit inspired praise, thanksgiving, and worship.
Psalm 149 (Amplified Bible) 1PRAISE THE Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, praise Him in the assembly of His saints! 2Let Israel rejoice in Him, their Maker; let Zion's children triumph and be joyful in their King!(A) 3Let them praise His name in chorus and choir and with the [single or group] dance; let them sing praises to Him with the tambourine and lyre! 4For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation and adorn the wretched with victory. 5Let the saints be joyful in the glory and beauty [which God confers upon them]; let them sing for joy upon their beds. 6Let the high praises of God be in their throats and a two-edged sword in their hands,(B) 7To wreak vengeance upon the nations and chastisement upon the peoples, 8To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron, 9To execute upon them the judgment written. He [the Lord] is the honor of all His saints. Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)
If you want to work with the Holy Spirit to conquer your flesh and deal with the demonic forces on the earth then begin to do the word concerning the High Praises of God. Ask the Lord to reveal to you what your part is in giving thanks, praise, and worship to our Father on a daily basis. Ask the Holy Spirit to energize you and let the anointing of the Father pour out of your spirit as you sing to your Father!
For too long the body of Christ has ignored the prophetic nature of praise, thanksgiving, and worship in the Holy Spirit. One of the dictionary's definitions of prophecy is a divine revelation or insight. When we are praising, thanking and worshiping the Father in the spirit we are open to the Father to begin speaking through our mouths - prophesying. When the body of Christ, out of sheer love and adoration of the Father and our Lord Jesus, begin to worship in the spirit and truth (John 4:23) and then begin the prophecy, things will begin to change! Our Father's Kingdom will begin to manifest on this Earth and we can help our Lord bring this age to a close!
